BASH
Building a Scholastic Heritage

Jack and Barbara NicklausBASH was the creation of former Benjamin parents Babs Fisher and  Barbara Nicklaus.  Mrs. Nicklaus, along with her husband and golf legend, Jack Nicklaus, (pictured here) played a pivotal role in transforming our school from one that served very young children to the state-of-the-art institution it is today serving children in grades Pre-K3 through 12.

Mrs. Fisher and Mrs. Nicklaus were co-chairs of the school's first-ever annual gala dinner and fundraiser.  They gave it the name BASH, an acronym for Building A Scholastic Heritage.  The BASH Gala has been an annual event ever since and the school's biggest fundraiser.  Proceeds from the gala go to support school programs.

BASH has since become the name we use in conjunction with all of our school's fundraising efforts, which include an annual Variety Show, as well as parent-driven special projects providing services to our children such as catered lunches and a holiday gift boutique known as Kids' Korner.

BASH welcomes participation from all members of the Benjamin community interested in working on, as well as contributing to our various events.  Please contact the Advancement Office to learn more about our event needs at 561-472-3452.
