Giving and Getting Involved
WE RELY ON YOUR GENEROSITY
The Benjamin School relies on the support and involvement of our entire community - including trustees, parents, alumni, faculty and staff, grandparents, and past parents. Several annual fundraising efforts and special events provide a variety of options to become involved. Our community's contributions form a partnership with The Benjamin School that enables us to offer extraordinary and successful educational opportunities for more than 1,100 talented children.
We ask for our community's support in two meaningful ways:
Financial Support
We hope, as virtually every independent school does, that members of the Benjamin community will contribute to our annual fundraising drive to the extent that they are financially able. Participation is what's most important. This annual drive is known as the Annual Fund. In addition, we ask our community to participate in capital campaign needs that support new buildings and endowment.
Active Participation
Benjamin believes in partnering and invites parents to participate in school life to better understand and support their child's learning experience. Parents can participate through volunteer opportunities in the classroom, attending school events, sponsoring activities, and joining organizations that support the school. We also welcome and encourage grandparents, past parents and alumni participation at school functions, athletic events and performances.
