Congratulations to the 100 members of the Class of 2016 who took center stage in Benjamin Hall for the 37th annual commencement ceremony. The traditional events of graduation week, including the Senior Awards Banquet, baccalaureate ceremony and welcoming alumni luncheon culminated with graduation diplomas awarded by Head of School Robert Goldberg, Assistant Head of School for Academics Ken Didsbury and Head of Upper School Dr. Latta Baucom at the May 20 commencement ceremony.

Valedictorian Annelise Hillmann (pictured) who will be attending Harvard University in the fall and Salutatorian Dylan Peters (pictured), a fall entering freshman at the University of Virginia delivered the evening's commencement addresses to the graduation audience of fellow classmates, faculty, family members and friends.

Student Council President Derek Packer, who will be attending the University of Richmond in the fall, delivered the invocation. Members of the upper school band and chorus, conducted by Upper School Music Director Dr. Alexander Nagy, performed the evening's vocal and instrumental arrangements.

The 2016 awarding of the Marshall and Nancy Benjamin Founders' Cups were presented by Dr. Baucom to Princeton University entering fall freshman Andrew Witmer and Kathleen Walsh who will be attending Davidson College in the fall.

The graduating seniors continued the evening celebration in the campus gymnasium with Project Graduation festivities hosted in their honor.

Best of luck to the Class of 2016 and welcome to the School's newest alumni!
