Benjamin Volleyball Wins Regionals for First Time In Two Decades

The Benjamin girls varsity volleyball team has won the regional championship for the first time in 20 years!

The Bucs defeated Fort Lauderdale-Westminster Academy in the five-set regional final.

The win sends Benjamin to the Class 4A semi-finals Saturday at 2 p.m. in Palmetto Bay where they will face Palmer Trinity.
“We gained a lot of momentum in the third game, and to come out and do what we did in the fifth set was really special,” Benjamin coach Alex Clarke told The Palm Beach Post, after being congratulated by Delores Colton, who led the girls team to the state finals in 1996.

Congratulations to the entire varsity volleyball team!
