Didsbury Learning Commons

A cross between Google Workspace and next-generation library. That’s how we describe this multi-purpose facility where students can work collaboratively, have the tools and space to build classroom projects, find additional teaching support in all subject areas and utilize emerging technologies that enhance learning at the Upper School.

  • Glass Bubble

    a collaboration area where students work on projects creatively, even writing on the glass walls
  • IGHD Lab

    a design and fabrication space featuring equipment for project-based learning including Adobe Design Suite, Glowforge laser cutter, oversize plotter printer and a vinyl cutter
  • Learning Cafe

    an area for students to study and explore in an informal setting. The cafe includes coffee, healthy snacks and seating for 24
  • Virtual Reality Lab

    students use cutting edge software that presents lessons in an immersive 3-D environment
