Two Benjamin Coaches Inducted Into Lacrosse Hall Of Fame

Benjamin coaches Sarah Burlingame and Riordan Cheatham were inducted into the South Florida Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall Of Fame. US Lacrosse serves as the sport’s national governing body and includes more than 450,000 members nationwide.

Cheatham started Benjamin’s lacrosse program in 2004, with only a JV team consisting of Freshmen and Sophomores. His second year coaching, he produced a Varsity team with 9th through 12 graders. Cheatham continued to run the high school team for 10 years before transitioning to coaching the middle school team. Burlingame has spent eight of her 15 years coaching lacrosse at Benjamin.
