Susan Bickel Named ‘Teacher Of The Year’ By American Association Of Chemistry Teachers
Lower School Science Coordinator Susan Bickel was named “Chemistry Teacher Of The Year” by the American Association of Chemistry Teachers. The organization is a professional community created by and for K-12 teachers of chemistry. Each year, the organization recognizes three educators nation-wide as Teachers Of The Year.
“Through their pedagogy, dedication, skills, and accomplishments, these teachers make outstanding contributions to the chemistry teaching profession and AACT,” said the AACT.
Bickel has been an AACT member since 2016 and has written two articles for Chemistry Solutions along with lesson plans for the organization.
