Junior Nicolas Lama Named Earth Echo Ambassador

Junior Nicolas Lama was named an Ambassador for the EarthEcho Water Challenge following a nationwide application process. The Water Challenge Ambassadors will work to increase knowledge of local water resources throughout their communities by leading citizens through water quality monitoring events and water restoration and conservation programs.

Lama will be educating others about the importance of water quality monitoring, in addition to physically monitoring a local body of water every month and reporting on his findings.

“Our EarthEcho Water Challenge Ambassadors are instrumental in continuing the global effort to preserve our planet’s most precious resource for generations to come,” said EarthEcho International Founder Philippe Cousteau, Jr.

“We are excited by the passion and vision of this group of young environmental champions who are working within their communities to help increase understanding of the importance of local waterways and inspiring others to join in taking action to protect them.”

The EarthEcho Water Challenge Ambassadors is an initiative coordinated by EarthEcho International's Youth Leadership Council.
