  • Qualification to Benjamin is Need-Blind

The Benjamin School is committed to educating talented children, regardless of their family's financial situation. A family's ability to afford tuition has no bearing on the qualification process for admission to The Benjamin School. Once a child has been offered admission, we are committed to working with the family to try to meet the expenses of an independent school education.
  • About Financial Aid

The Benjamin School recognizes that the cost of an independent private school education may be prohibitive for some families. For this reason, our need based financial aid program exists to help qualified students attend our school. Students in grades 6-12 are eligible to apply for financial aid with priority given to returning families. Aid awards typically range from 10-50% of the tuition amount, with each family expected to contribute to the education of their child.

The School partners with Smart Aid, a private financial needs assessment company, to determine the family’s estimated contribution. The School’s financial aid committee reviews all of the financial information provided by Smart Aid and makes a determination of the aid amount that we may offer the family for the next school year. We do not provide aid in excess of the amount identified on the Smart Aid needs assessment. Awards are based on financial need and availability of funds per grade without regard to race, color, religion, ethnic origin or disability. Financial assistance is limited, and we may not be able to meet the full need of each student applying for aid.
  • How to Apply

To be considered for financial assistance families must complete a Smart Aid application and pay the non-refundable fee of $35. Smart Aid’s online application and instructions will be available beginning in November for the following school year.  Parents may apply online by going to the Smart Aid website. For assistance please contact Pam Didio in the Benjamin School Business Office at 561.472.3474 or pamela.didio@thebenjaminschool.org.
