Candidates and their families are encouraged to visit The Benjamin School for a campus tour. Candidates must also be interviewed by a division head or a member of our Admission Office. To schedule your tour, contact Cherie Fromson at 561.472.3451 or email@example.com.
Candidates must take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) and should request that the testing agency, known as the Educational Records Bureau (ERB), send test scores to our Admission Office. ISEE testing dates at Benjamin for the 2017-18 school year are: December 10, January 28, February 25, April 1 and May 13. (The test is held in the Benjamin Upper School Kirkwood Library, in Palm Beach Gardens, beginning at 8:30 a.m.). You must register through ERB (www.iseetest.org) to take the ISEE.
In lieu of the ISEE, Benjamin accepts the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) administered by the Secondary School Admission Test Board (SSATB), as a valid entrance examination. Please make sure SSATB forwards the test results directly to The Benjamin School. Our school code for the SSAT is 1580.
Candidates who have submitted an application to grades 6-12 should plan to spend a day as a Benjamin School student.
Candidates will shadow a student in their current grade (with the exception of 8th graders, who shadow 9th graders) in order to gain a complete sense of The Benjamin School experience. The shadow days for Middle School (grades 6-8) are Monday and Friday and Upper School (grades 9-12) are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and will include a required interview with the respective division head or an Admission Office staff member.
The Admission Office will contact you upon receipt of an Application to schedule the shadow day and interview.
