Peter Cordrey, member of the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame and former Princeton lacrosse player, will join The Benjamin School as Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach.

“We are elated to have two coaches with such incredible experience both in and out of lacrosse. Our student-athletes will have two of the most respected individuals in lacrosse nationally leading the program. With their combined experience they will serve as outstanding coaches and mentors,” said Athletic Director Ryan Smith ‘93.

Smith announced that Coach Darren Lowe will move into the position of Director of Boys Lacrosse where he will assist with the management of the program at all levels.

Cordrey, a two-time All-American and two-time 1st Team All-Ivy Selection, has three children involved in Division 1 athletics at Harvard University, Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania. Cordrey has coached at many levels including serving as Head Coach of the Columbia University Club Team. In 2001 he was honored with the US Lacrosse’s National Youth Coach of the Year award.
