Benjamin Named FACA Athletic Program of the Year

The Benjamin School athletic program was named Class 4A Private state athletic program of the year by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association. Shelton Crews, Executive Director of the FACA, says each year the association recognizes the top athletic programs in each classification with this award.

“A lot of hard work and dedication, by you, the athletes and the coaches, have made this award possible,” says Crews.

Two criteria - Whole School Membership and results from the FHSAA Floyd E. Lay Sunshine Cup All Sports Award - are used in selecting the winner. Benjamin joins the ranks of The Bolles School, American Heritage and St. Thomas Aquinas as a 2017-2018 FACA award winner. The School also won the FHSAA athletic program of the year.
