Cornerback Elam Presented With All-American Jersey
Benjamin cornerback Kaiir Elam will play in the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game, and was presented with his All-American jersey during a special assembly in Benjamin Hall on September 17. Elam, the son of former NFL defensive back Abe Elam, also received an invitation to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Director of Athletics Ryan Smith ‘93 said he is so proud of Kaiir as he is the first Benjamin student-athlete to be named an Under Armour High School All-American.
“It was clear when Kaiir started at Benjamin in 9th grade that he had special skills. Not only does Kaiir possess the talent to compete at the highest level, but he also worked extremely hard fine tune his skills. We look forward to following Kaiir's career in college and beyond,” said Smith.
