Students Win 121 Scholastic Art Awards

Students in the Upper School Visual Arts Department won an outstanding 121 Regional Awards at this year's Scholastic Art Awards. The Scholastic Art Awards is the longest running, most prestigious competition for teen artists and Benjamin students were awarded 25 Gold Key awards, as well as the “best in show” American Vision Award Nominee awarded to Julie Moquin for her piece titled “Shattered”.

The 25 Gold Key winners will advance to the national competition, and the results of national awards will be announced mid-March. National award winners will have their work exhibited at the prestigious National Awards exhibition in New York City in June

Benjamin’s award winning artwork will be on display through February 28 at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach.
