Kind Is The New Cool With Random Acts Of Kindness Week

Corey Morrow
Upper School students spread the message that “Kind is the New Cool” during Random Acts of Kindness Week.  The upper school students spent the week coming up with ideas of how to share a moment of kindness with their fellow classmates and then implemented them campus wide.

Many upperclassmen took time out of their morning to greet lower school students with high-fives and fist bumps while handing out sunglasses to show how one small act of kindness can make someone's day.

The upper school also hosted “Taste of Home” luncheons for our Chinese students as well as our Bahamian students, to treat them to foods from their home that they may be missing while here in the States.

These small acts of kindness were a wonderful addition to the campus environment and proved that kind really is the new cool.
