Students Attend Harvard Model Congress

Corey Morrow
Twelve upper school students recently attended Harvard Model Congress in Boston, Massachusetts. During the four day mock legislative congress, students took on roles as senators, congresspersons, and media personnel. They participated in a mock presidential election and district and Supreme Court cases. Some students performed as members of the west wing while others went back in time as drafters of the Constitution.

The prestigious conference was founded in 1986 and is completely run by Harvard students on the Harvard campus in Boston with the primary goal of teaching and inspiring the leaders of tomorrow.
