Alumni Council Appoints New Members

The Benjamin School Alumni Council welcomed Paul Lawler ‘02 as its new President, as current President Matt Brannon ‘03 concluded his three-year term. Ellen Regnery ‘83 was appointed Vice President and Brennan Grogan ‘02 will serve as the Council’s new Secretary.

Lawler said he is excited to continue working with members of the Alumni Council and connecting with fellow Benjamin alumni.

“Matt Brannon has left big shoes to fill as outgoing President, and I hope to build on the progress we have made under his leadership. I look forward to welcoming our four new incoming members to the Alumni Council. With their addition, we have a tremendous diversity of class years and professional experience represented on the Council,” said Lawler.

The Council, which works to advance the mission of the Alumni Association, ensuring that it is a sustainable program for the School, also welcomed new members Brad Chamness ‘83, Darren Craft ‘04, Kyle Sheehan ‘96, and Nikasha Wells ‘98. 

Brad Chamness ‘83 attended North Palm Beach Private School since he was in Pre-Kindergarten. He is the Registered Principal and Owner of Lipari & Chamness Investment Management. Brad and his wife Tove have two daughters, Ruby and Ella, who currently attend The Benjamin School.

Darren Craft ‘04 graduated from Benjamin as a member of the 14-year Club. He is the founder and president of Worth Insurance, a property and casualty insurance agency based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. Craft says he is looking forward to being an active member of the Benjamin community.

Kyle Sheehan ‘96 graduated from Benjamin as a member of the 14-year Club. He currently serves as Partner at boutique brokerage firm The Sheehan Agency. Kyle specializes in commercial assets and luxury homes. He and his wife Traci have two daughters. His daughter Samantha will be starting Pre-Kindergarten at The Benjamin School in the fall. Her younger sister plans to follow in her footsteps.

Nikasha Wells ‘98 earned her bachelor’s degree from The Florida State University in 2002. She went on to St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2006. She is currently the Senior Manager of Governmental Affairs and Equal Employment Officer for Palm Tran.

Lawler encouraged alumni who have ideas of ways to foster the relationship between Benjamin and its alumni to reach out and contact him or any member of the Council.
