Benjamin Athletes Named to All Area Teams

Seventeen Benjamin student-athletes were named to the Sun Sentinel’s All County High School Sports Teams. Girls varsity basketball players Taylor Blackshear and Jasmine Patrick were named to the Sentinel’s 1st Team along with varsity soccer players Emma Shirzad and Lily White. Eighth grade girls Emily Simon, Sam Woods, and Vanessa Zito all received an Honorable Mention for their contributions to the varsity girls soccer team.

Assistant Director of Athletics Alex Clarke said the awards honor an incredible group of young athletes. 

“We are proud of all that they have accomplished, and we look forward to seeing what the future has in store for them,” she said.

Girls Basketball:
