Spotlight: Student Services

Benjamin’s Student Services Program, comprised of counselors and specially-trained educators, helps ensure students in grades Pre-K3 through 12 realize and achieve their full potential as successful learners and contributing members of the Benjamin community.

In keeping with Student Services’ preventive approach, all students in grades PK-3 through 9 participate in in-class guidance programs specifically designed to address their social-emotional learning. For over 25 years, Student Services has been facilitating these classes as a way to help build a strong social-emotional intelligence in our students, enabling them to better reach their overall potential.

The social and emotional development of each student at Benjamin is supported by a school-wide Character Education program including research based programs at all grade levels, a Middle and Upper School advisory system, and an engaging community service program. Each year, Student Services also schedules a series of speakers to give presentations and workshops for the community on a wide range of parenting topics.
