National Honor Society Welcomes New Inductees

Benjamin’s chapter of the National Honor Society welcomed new members during a Spring ceremony in Benjamin Hall the morning of April 4. Head of Upper School Mr. Fletcher Carr welcomed an audience of their parents and peers to the annual ceremony, applauding those on stage for their hard work and dedication.

“I always look forward to our NHS induction ceremonies each year, as they represent a perfect opportunity to recognize those students who are exceeding in a number of important areas that we as a school seek to teach, model, and inspire,” said Carr.

Carr’s opening remarks were followed by NHS Advisor and upper school history teacher Sara Misselhorn who led the ceremony’s introduction.

President Skyler Malmberg led the candlelight ceremony and was joined by fellow chapter officers in inducting new members.

The inductees, who were elected by a faculty council, were chosen for their leadership, knowledge, scholarship, service and character; the five pillars of NHS.
