Fifth Grade Students Celebrate Greek Mythology

Marti Lotman
Fifth grade students celebrated Greek mythology during the annual Greek Myth Extravaganza hosted May 10 on the Lower/Middle School Campus. The festival was the culmination of their study of mythology during the 2017 school year.

Teacher Joanna Hogan led students, dressed as their favorite mythological characters, around Kennerly Field to show off their costumes. Students continued the celebration outside of the Peltz building, where they took pictures with parents and friends.

“Today’s festivities celebrate the culmination of our yearlong classroom study of the ancient Greek gods and goddesses. It’s great to see the students proudly showing off their costumes,” said Hogan.
