Shirzad Family Hosts Leadership Society Reception

Marti Lotman
The Shirzad family welcomed members of the Leadership Society into their home on Jupiter Island the night of November 1 for a celebratory evening in honor of the School’s generous benefactors.

The event, sponsored by the Board of Trustees and Head of School Bob Goldberg, served as a way to express the School’s gratitude for its donors.

The Shirzads, whose daughters Emma and Roya attend Benjamin, welcomed nearly 100 guests to their home before introducing Head of School Bob Goldberg who made a short speech expressing his heartfelt thanks to the generous 2016-2017 Leadership Society donors.

"Benjamin would not be an exceptional independent school without the financial support of parents. Our Leadership Reception recognizes our most committed donors and is just a small way to say 'thank you' for going above and beyond with their generosity.,” said Chief Development Officer Juan Carlos Fanjul ‘93

The Leadership Society recognizes and honors those benefactors who are especially generous in their philanthropic giving to The Benjamin School. The gift threshold for the Society is $3,000, representing the sum total of an individual’s gifts to the Annual Fund, BASH Sponsorship or Call from the Heart, capital and/or endowment in the given fiscal year.
