Offensive Coordinator Eric Kresser Promoted To Head Coach

Offensive coordinator Eric Kresser has been appointed Head Football Coach following the retirement of Ron Ream as Head Coach after 37 years. Kresser has spent the past four years as Benjamin’s Offensive Coordinator and has worked closely with Louisville commit Jordan Travis.

"We are very excited that Eric Kresser has accepted the position of Head Football Coach,” said Athletic Director Ryan Smith ‘93.

“Eric brings extensive experience and success as both a player and coach. It was an easy and natural selection with regards to Eric as he has been the offensive coordinator for the past four seasons and teaches physical education at the School. He understands the culture, values, and mission of School. We are certain Eric will continue with the incredible program that Ron Ream managed for 37 years,” said Smith.

Kresser was inducted into the Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame after playing for three years in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals. Kresser, a former Benjamin student, played for The University of Florida and Marshall University before joining the NFL.
