  • Adventure Camp for Children Entering Grades K-3

    After-Care is offered in addition to the Adventure Camp from 3:00-5:30.  After-care is only offered the same weeks as the Adventure Camp for grades K-3.

    Camp Philosophy
    : The Adventure Camp is designed to provide young people with enjoyable enrichment activities. Creative thinking, positive socialization skills, and good sportsmanship are emphasized.

    Facilities
    : Located at the Lower/Middle School Campus in North Palm Beach, facilities for the camp include air-conditioned classrooms, an air-conditioned gymnasium, two athletic fields, and three outdoor basketball/tennis courts, allowing for a balance of indoor and outdoor activities.

    Staff
    : A highly qualified and mature staff, consisting of talented Benjamin School teachers and coaches, provides campers with leadership and guidance in a variety of well-supervised activities. Lunches and Snacks: Lunches for the week may be ordered the first day of camp. Campers not ordering lunch need to bring their own food each day. All campers should bring a morning snack.

    Camp Activities
    : Each week, campers experience theme-based activities including arts and crafts, music, dance, gymnastics, and computer. All activities are on campus with each week concluding with Friday "Water Day".

    Description
    This camp is for children new to cheerleading who are interested in fun through physical activity. Children will learn new cheers as well as develop their own, choreograph them, and perform them. Children will play games throughout the day for the purpose of cultivating school spirit – everyone’s school – through fun, creative, and physical expression.

    Description
    The Benjamin School Summer Dance Intensive offers one week of outstanding training to dancers looking to increase versatility and develop skills in a variety of dance genres including contemporary, modern, jazz and ballet. Students will also participate in conditioning and improvisation activities during the week. Our talented faculty and guest artists create a diverse program that is unique and inspiring for passionate young dancers looking to be challenged.

  • Discovery Camp for Children Entering PK4

    Description
    This camp led by Benjamin faculty and staff will provide an excellent summer opportunity for children entering Pre-K4 to "Learn through Discovery". Children will participate in teacher guided crafts, science experiments, STEM activities, creative movement, and group games. Let the friendships and fun begin!  Please include a snack, lunch, bed sheet, and water bottle for your child. A "rest" mat will be provided.

    Aftercare is offered in addition to the Discover Camp from 2:30-5:30 for only $50 more per week.

    After-Care
     is offered in addition to the Explorer Camp from 3:00-5:30 and is only offered the same weeks as the Explorer Camp for grades 3-6.

    Explore South Florida while having fun and keeping cool! Campers will experience several field trips in addition to weekly activities including gymnastics, art, computer, a variety of team sports, swimming, and recreational games.

    Description
    Come test your skills in a fun enviroment! The Benjamin School Flag Football Camp is designed for campers to have an enjoyable, positive experience in football, either as newcomers to the game or experienced Super Bowl veterans! Join Coach Peterson and the rest of the Benjamin coaching staff as they lead campers in daily flag football competitions. While competing for a “championship,” campers learn football terminology, hear from guest speakers, and receive specific medals for individual achievement!

    The Lego Robotics camp uses the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 Base Set and Software. Students explore the world of robotics through this powerful and versatile brick building system. Students combine the versatility of the LEGO® building system, a powerful microcomputer, and an intuitive drag-and-drop programming software to create robots on their first day.
  • Makers Camp for Girls Entering Grades 5-9

    Description
    The all girls maker camp is a camp designed to develop your student's imagination, problem-solving, design-thinking and team-work skills. Girls will be working both individually and in teams designing, creating, and making various projects that will incorporate both engineering and art. Girls will be using various tools such as hand and power tools as well as 3-D printers. Student's will be bringing home projects that hopefully will continue to inspire and stimulate their desire to more fully explore all the STEM disciplines.
  • Olympics Sports Camp for Children Entering Grades 3-7

    Description
    Want to be an Olympic star? Register now for a chance to represent your favorite country in our Olympic Sports Camp. Campers will be exposed to a variety of summer and winter Olympic sports games including Track & Field events (indoor), badminton, basketball, soccer, hockey, and other Olympic favorites. Campers will learn the history of the Olympics, the rules and scoring format of each sport, and also practice the skills and fundamentals prior to competition. Campers should bring a snack, lunch and a water bottle daily.

    SOAR is an academic readiness program for all students.  Whether for enrichment, remediation, maintenance, or help with summer reading and/or packets, this is an opportunity to prevent the “summer slide”.  Along with teacher instruction in reading, writing, and math, all students will rotate through the School’s Learning Lab for brain training and computer assisted instruction. Students are placed in small learning groups with a student to teacher ratio of 5:1 or less.
  • Soccer Camp for Children Entering Grades 1-12

    Description
    This multi-week soccer camp is offered by the Palm Beach Soccer Academy. It is taught by Gary Walker who is licensed and certified by the United States Soccer Federation and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. In addition to Coach Walker, campers will be led by former professional  soccer players. All participants must wear soccer attire, soccer shoes, and shin guards. Campers should bring a daily snack, sunscreen, water bottle, and a soccer ball.
  • Splash Into Art - Grades K-3

    Come on a week long fun filled adventure "splashing" into the arts. Campers will create projects inspired by different beach themes including canvas beach art, tape art, aquarium mason jars, pop art pictures, and marine life. Grab your snorkel and enjoy some beach fun!

    Description
    The Benjamin Sports Camp is led by Benjamin coaches and faculty and is designed to provide a fundamental skill set for each of the major sports as well as some lifetime activities.  Sports include: baseball, basketball, football, tennis, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, and additional fitness and agility training. In addition to practicing the skills and drills of each sport, campers will participate in daily contests and games to test their mastery and improvement in each sport in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.   Campers are required to bring sneakers, snack, and a lunch. Cleats are optional for outdoor sports.

  • Tennis Camp for Children Entering Grades 1-12

    Description
    This weeklong tennis clinic is taught by a licensed and certified coach, and experienced staff. Students learn everything from strategy and footwork to nutrition and conditioning. Camp is open to players of all abilities including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. All participants must wear tennis attire, tennis shoes, and have the proper equipment. Campers should bring a daily snack, tennis racquet, and water bottle.
     
    Also offered on a separate court – Tennis Camp for High-Performing Players: Conducted by ex-world ranked ATP player, Marcel Agnolin (1979-1983), four years on the tour in the United States, Asia, South America, and Europe, also playing the interclub circuit in Spain and France, and touring professional at the “Club International de Madrid.”

    Think Tank is an enrichment opportunity to present logic and problem-solving opportunities to children through games and brain-based activities. Think Tank teaches students how to think rather than what to think by using real life challenges and other problem solving methods.

    Description
    Lights, camera, action!  Students in grades 5-9 who attend this camp will get hands-on experience in TV & Film from actual industry professionals!  Led by Mr. Crisafi, participants will learn how to shoot video on high-definition cameras, storyboard, write screenplays, and edit using Adobe Premier software.  They will also produce, direct, star in and edit their own short film using The Benjamin School’s HD video production facility.  Using state-of-the-art, cutting-edge technology, campers will learn 21st-century skills while loving every minute of their experience!  Each student will receive a DVD of his/her completed project to keep when the camp is over.  “That’s a wrap!”
  • Volleyball Camp for Children Entering Grades 4-10

    Description
    Join the Benjamin School’s varsity coaches for a week of volleyball skills and fundamentals. Campers will focus on serving, passing, communicating and building proper technique for newcomers to the game of volleyball.  The campers will learn the very basics of the game and will have fun while doing so.  A new skill will be introduced each day and the last day of camp will allow the campers to put all of their new skills together and compete in a fun and friendly environment!
