97 Benjamin Students Earn AP Award Distinctions

Benjamin upper school students were recognized by the AP Program for their outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP Exams. Director of College Counseling Anna Wright commended the sophomores and juniors during a virtual upper school assembly. The scholars received three different award levels: AP Scholar, AP Scholar With Honor, and AP Scholar With Distinction.

“Every year our Benjamin students who are enrolled in our Advanced Placement courses take the final AP exams in May,” said Wright. “Students who score at the highest levels are considered AP Scholars by the College Board. Last year we had 233 students take 538 exams . . . 97 Benjamin students were named as scholars. Many graduated last year,” Wright said.
