US French Students Win First Place In Annual Competition

Upper school Francophiles won first place for Division A in the annual Congres competition held March 9-11 in Orlando, Florida. The Congres de la culture Française en Floride (CCFF) features a variety of disciplines in which students can compete including reciting poetry, singing, performing a drama, and showcasing their speaking skills.

Benjamin sent a team of twelve upper school students, helmed by upper school world language teacher Mlle. Donnelly, to the annual competition. The team returned home with nine supérieur ribbons (the highest honor conferred by the competition), and six excellent ribbons.
