Running Back Chauncey Bowens Named To All-American Bowl
Senior running back Chauncey Bowens ‘24 was officially named a 2024 All-American during a virtual jersey presentation as part of the All-American Bowl’s Road to the Dome Tour.
Bowens, a University of Georgia commit, was selected to play in the annual East vs. West matchup inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Varsity football coach Eric Kresser said Chauncey has what every coach is looking for.
"He is of upstanding character, hard working, and an athletically talented young man," said Kresser.
"He has followed the Benjamin plan throughout high school and it is all paying off in the end. The slogan 'Go Benjamin, Then Go Anywhere' could not be more appropriate when describing Chauncey’s high school career," he said.
