Lower School Celebrates Mother's Day

WOW families celebrated Mother’s Day early on May 11 with a performance in the Barker Performing Arts Center. WOW students took the stage and performed a series of songs in four different world languages.

“The WOW teachers have been proud to be part of your extended family at school this year. We thank you for all of your support,” said WOW teacher Sheri Danyali.

“It’s really exciting to have our young bucs up on stage. This morning you’re going to see them play rhythm instruments, they’re going to sing in three world languages. It’s amazing that at three and four years old that they can sing in mandarin Chinese, Spanish and French! If they can do that now just think what they can do by the time they graduate from high school.”

The performance was followed by an al fresco family picnic.
