Members of the Benjamin School chapter of the National Honor Society welcomed 16 new inductees at the annual fall candlelight ceremony hosted November 9 in Benjamin Hall.
Head of Upper School Fletcher Carr welcomed parents, faculty, students and guests to the ceremony before introducing NHS Advisor and upper school teacher Sara Misselhorn. NHS Officers Roberto Lama, Acadia Rubin, Katy Blain, Lisa Huang and Nina Houri made speeches about the five character pillars of NHS: knowledge, leadership, scholarship, service and character.
The new inductees, who were elected by the TBS Faculty Council, demonstrated excellence in all five pillars.
