We are thrilled to once again offer the revamped and enhanced BLAST (Benjamin Lower Academics in the SummerTime) program in Summer 2026. The program has been designed to meet the individualized needs of our students, with the goal of demonstrating measurable growth by the end of the four-week session.
- PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
This half-day, four-week program is designed to provide academic enrichment in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. The program will include:- Differentiated, small-group instruction focused on individual student needs
- Teacher-led centers where students will reinforce and apply skills
- Hands-on math practice to build critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Opportunities to engage in learning centers for creativity, design, and innovation
Curriculum Focus:
- We will continue using the Benjamin School Curriculum, including Wonders for reading and Big Ideas for math.
- Students will have access to learning centers designed to enhance and reinforce core subject matter, and students will work on personal passion projects that connect to what they are learning in class.
This program will provide students with a great balance of academic reinforcement and enrichment in a fun and supportive environment.
