The boys and girls track and field teams recently participated in the Palm Beach County Championships. The girls team finished 10th out of 40 teams. The boys team won the County championship and became the 1st boys private school team to do so! Micah M. was the meet MVP and broke his own school record in the 400 (48.73). Congratulations to Micah and his family!

Middle School Football
All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students interested in playing football should report to the locker room area on August 15th for the first practice. 
  • Players must have a current FHSAA physical to participate. 
  • Bring water, a hat, sunscreen, cleats and a snack.
  • Returning students should report promptly at 1 pm and practice.  New students should report at 3:30 pm (after the New Student Orientation).  Practice will end at 5:00 pm.
  • There will be a Parent Meeting at 5:30 pm on Thursday, August 18.
  • Equipment handout will be 3:30 - 5:00 pm on Friday, August 19.

Athletics for the 2022-2023 School Year
As the athletics program at The Benjamin School is considered an integral part of the overall school curriculum, participation in at least one sport each year fulfills the state physical education requirement and therefore attendance is mandatory.  Students may not miss more than 10% of practices and games combined to fulfill this requirement.   

Students wishing to satisfy the physical education credit through participation in a sport that the Middle School does not offer must submit this request to the Athletic Director by October 1st.    

Students sign up for sports in the Middle School Office two-three weeks before the season begins.  

Careful consideration needs to be taken when a student is choosing a sport, as most teams will have a limited number of participants. Because of the restricted number of coaches, safety concerns, and field space, the following guidelines will be used regarding participants in each sport:
