Getting Started with BucPay

The Benjamin School is excited to announce the new BucPay Card which is linked to the student identification cards.  This service is currently only available to Upper School students for purchasing items while on campus.

BucPay can be used in all divisions to preorder lunches and other items for school.  It is a service powered by  You will often see this logo on their site as you manage your parent and student accounts.

Parents, to get started with BucPay, please follow these directions to set up your account:

Go to
  1. Click “Create Account” on the top menu bar. 
  2. Fill in the required information on the “Parent Account Sign-Up page.” 
  3. Choose “The Benjamin School” from the “School District” drop-down menu. 
  4. Create a User ID and Password
  5. Click the “Accept” box, and then click “Signup.” An email will be sent to your email address that will contain a “verification code.”

After you receive the “verification code” you may begin to add your children’s information. To do this, you will need to:

  1. Go to and log in using your previously created user ID and password.
  2. Enter the “verification code” to verify your account and email address. 
  3. Begin adding your children’s information to your account. You will need the Student ID number for each of your children.
    • The Student ID number can be viewed in BucLinks by clicking on the name of your student and navigating to "Contact Card." It can be found on the bottom left area of the screen in a box titled "General Information."
    • The Student ID number can also be found under the barcode on the school ID card your student was issued.
  4. After the students are added to your account you will be able to view the lunch account activity and make payments to the student lunch account.
  5. If you have 2 or more students assigned to your account, you may make a payment to each account and only be charged for one transaction. Example; 3 students, $10.00 ACH payment to each student, total charge would be $32.00.

    Note: A parent account can be linked to many children, but a child can only be linked to one parent.
Payments by the ACH (Automated Clearing House) Process
The parent is writing an electronic check and must provide routing and bank account information. All payments transacted by midnight are available the next day for students. Cost to the parent is $2 per transaction for any number of students and any amount of money. All account numbers are stored in an encrypted format by Food Service Solutions, Inc. 

Payments by Debit or Credit Card
Food Service Solutions charges the purchaser 4.75% inclusive of the processing fees and the FSS internet convenience fee.

All checks returned NSF or disputed credit card charges are subject to a $20 service fee (paid by the parent) and a reversing entry will be made in the student account within two days after the NSF notification is received.
