Admission Process & How To Apply

Apply to Grades 6-8

  • Get To Know Us

    Candidates and their families are encouraged to visit The Benjamin School for a campus tour. To schedule a tour, contact the Admission Office at 561.472.3451 or admission@thebenjaminschool.org.
  • STEP 1

    Submit an application online by December 1st.
  • STEP 2

    • Submit remaining checklist items by January 15th:

      • Birth Certificate

      • English Teacher Recommendation

      • Math Teacher Recommendation

      • School Statement

      • Student Interview (in person)

      • Admission Testing (The Benjamin School will accept ONE of the following tests):

        • ISEE (school code 102031)

        • SSAT (school code 1580)

        • PSAT

        • CTP (If your child has taken the CTP at their current school, please ask the school to send the scores to admission@thebenjaminschool.org).

  • Admission Assessment

    Students applying to grades 6-11 should register for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or the (SSAT).

  • Shadow Day and Interview

    Candidates who have submitted an application to grades 6-8 should plan to spend a day shadowing a Benjamin School student. The shadow day includes an interview with an Admission Office staff member.

    Although not required, shadow days are a wonderful opportunity for students to get to know our school and our community.
