Admissions Integrity & Philanthropy Policy

Admissions Integrity & Philanthropy Policy

At The Benjamin School, we believe in an admissions process rooted in equity, transparency, and the holistic evaluation of every applicant. To maintain the highest ethical standards and ensure that all candidates are assessed on their individual merits and fit for our community and program, we adhere to the following policy.

Pause on Donations During the Admissions Process

The School does not solicit or accept philanthropic gifts, pledges, or “in-kind” donations from potential families while they have an active application for admission on file.

Timeline

This pause begins the moment an application is submitted and remains in effect until a final admissions decision has been communicated and the enrollment process is complete.

Existing Families

For current families applying for a sibling’s admission, we ask that you continue your standard philanthropic participation. However, any extraordinary or new major gift solicitations will be paused until the sibling’s admissions status is finalized.

Non-Influence

Our Admissions Committee operates independently of the Development Office. Financial contributions—past, present, or potential—do not influence or guarantee admission to the School.

We deeply appreciate the generosity of our community and remain committed to a process where every child’s path to The Benjamin School is shaped by their own potential and our shared educational values.
A premier PK3 - Grade 12 independent, coeducational day school with campuses in North Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. Since 1960, The Benjamin School has provided a challenging college preparatory education to a diverse student body in a structured, nurturing community environment.
