Senior Sage Ponchock Named Pathfinder Winner in World Languages

Benjamin Senior Sage Ponchock was named the 2026 Palm Beach Post Pathfinder Award winner in the world languages category. The awards honor local high school seniors from Palm Beach and Martin counties who have excelled in a variety of fields.

Students are selected and nominated by their schools for the honor and each year, scholarships are awarded to 54 of the area's high school seniors.

“In a complex and rapidly changing world, a good education is the best way to ensure a life of excellence, growth, and creativity,” the Pathfinder website reads. “This basic tenet applies not only to the individual but also to the community. A community-led by people with foresight and the ability to think through problems – the fruits of a good education – is one that will prosper through the best and worst of times.”

Head of Upper School Fletcher Carr congratulated Sage on the award, saying she has distinguished herself in many areas during her time at the upper school.
