A Winning Set: Sisters Lead Volleyball Teams to Championships on Same Day

Sisters Alex Clarke and Katie George continued their winning tradition Thursday, leading their respective Benjamin volleyball teams to championship victories within 10 minutes of each other.

Clarke’s varsity volleyball team captured the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) District Championship, while George’s middle school team won the Palm Beach Independent School Athletic Conference Championship. The victories marked another milestone for the sisters, who achieved the same feat last fall.

For Clarke and George, volleyball is a family affair. Together, they have helped build a tradition of success across Benjamin’s varsity and middle school programs, combining their shared passion for the sport with a commitment to developing student-athletes on and off the court.

“What an incredible accomplishment for two sisters to achieve on the same day! Both are tremendously dedicated to our school and, most importantly, to their student-athletes,” said athletic director Ryan Smith ‘93.” Their commitment, leadership, and hard work continue to translate into success on the court.”
