Dear Benjamin Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!

There is a distinct energy that fills our campuses just before the start of a new year. With the eager anticipation of unveiling our new facilities and the joy of welcoming 195 new students and 29 new faculty members into our community, there is a vibrancy that comes with this dynamic new chapter for The Benjamin School.

That excitement makes our shared traditions feel all the more meaningful. On Wednesday morning, students on the Lower School campus will ring our original school bell to signal the 67th first day of school. Across town at the Upper School, our Class of 2027 seniors will celebrate their final first day by ringing a replica of that same bell. It is a simple tradition, but one that beautifully connects our youngest students who are just beginning their journey as Buccaneers with our seniors who are entering their capstone year.

As we look to the year ahead, our promise to you remains steadfast: to ensure every single student feels supported, challenged, and known every day.

Enjoy these final moments of summer, and get ready for an exceptional year ahead!

In Community,
