October 2, 2026

It's hard to believe we are already entering the second week of October. Since we opened our doors back in August, our campuses have been buzzing with the incredible energy and passion that define The Benjamin School.

We recently wrapped up our fall Parent/Teacher Conference Day. So many of our families took the time to connect with faculty, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. In the Lower School, parents heard teachers describe how children interact inside the classroom; a few parents noted (with a smile) how their child’s classroom persona can sometimes differ from how they act at home. In the Middle and Upper Schools, students led the way, preparing their own reviews of their performance and strategizing ways to improve. It can be daunting for a sixth grader to sit across from their teacher and parents to give an honest review of their effort, but Benjamin students did it with courage and integrity. I heard from several parents how impressed they were with the poise shown by their children.

These conferences are a great way to check in mid-semester, but more than anything, these conversations reinforced a fundamental truth about our school: our teachers really know our students. They see their unique strengths, recognize their potential, and are deeply invested in their individual growth.
