LS Students Welcomed Back To Campus On Opening Day
The opening day of the 2020-2021 school year on August 18 ushered in more than 200 new students to The Benjamin School community. They join an excited group of lower school students returning to on-campus learning and middle and upper school students who are commencing the year virtually.
Head of Lower School Dr. Sheehan and Head of School Mr. Dave Faus stood in the drop off line poised to welcome eager young learners to their first day back on campus. Despite new health protocols including temperature checks, physical distancing, and hand washing stations, the students all appeared in good spirits and eager to rejoin their classmates after an unprecedented summer.
Sheehan said she was heartened by how smoothly the morning drop off went and excited to have students back on campus after a quiet summer.
