Your Support Matters

Thank you for visiting The Benjamin School Support pages.

As a 501 c 3 non-profit, our school is built on philanthropy and would not be a top-tier independent school without financial help from parents, alumni, grandparents, friends, and foundations.

Here are the ways you can support TBS:

The cornerstone of Benjamin giving is the Annual Fund. It supports the School’s challenging and innovative academic programs, faculty professional development, arts, athletics, co-curricular activities, and technology upgrades on both campuses. Since tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Benjamin education, the Annual Fund is a critical component of our annual budget. We welcome gifts of all sizes, but most importantly, we strive for 100% participation from our community.

Make your gift online here.
The largest fundraising event of the year is our BASH Gala. BASH stands for Building A Scholastic Heritage and has provided critical unrestricted dollars to the School since 1985. The highlight of BASH is the gala itself where parents and friends of the school get together to build community through dinner, dancing and fun. Additionally, parents are invited to donate their time on a variety of planning sub-committees. The evening is complete with silent, almost live, and live auctions. Parents, friends, and local businesses can support BASH through auction donations, advertising and sponsorships.

The Leaps and Bounds Capital Campaign has been instrumental in the development of The Benjamin School by providing world class facilities to our students and teachers. Renovations of existing spaces such as the Lower/Middle School Library & Media Center or construction of new facilities such as Benjamin Hall are all made possible by capital donors. Some select naming opportunities are still available on both campuses. For more on the capital campaign including upcoming priorities, please click here.
Gifts to endowment help The Benjamin School secure its future. Unlike annual gifts, gifts to endowment are added to the School’s investment funds with the principal left untouched. The return on those investments is used to bolster the annual budget and allows the school to weather any downturn in enrollment or the economy.  For more on endowment giving, please click here.

Planned gifts provide general and endowment support to Benjamin through individuals’ will and estate plans. For more on planned giving, please click here.

This is a meaningful way for Alumni and Parents of Alumni to celebrate their connection to Benjamin or to honor someone from the School community. Brick pavers are available on both campuses. You can obtain your brick by visiting the online giving form here.

Additional Ways to Support Benjamin:

While we accept checks, credit card, and stock donations, the School is making it even easier for parents to give. We are now accepting donations via Venmo, the mobile payment app. Simply search for “The Benjamin Private School” and click “Pay” to make your donation.

Additionally, the school has set up a Cryptocurrency giving platform. Families can donate Bitcoin, Ethereum, and 24 other tokens to Benjamin through the Engiven platform. Used by leading non-profits including The Salvation Army, the platform securely accepts and exchanges the donation to USD and sends the donor an automatic tax receipt. Simply go to https://www.thebenjaminschool.org/crypto to make a gift.
