Three Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

Seniors Gerald Bissell, Joey Slyh, and Grady Wolf were named National Merit Semifinalists in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. They join a small nationwide group of award winners and represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.

Roughly 16,000 students with the highest PSAT/NMSQT Selection Index scores qualify for recognition as Semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

“We are tremendously proud of these three scholars and the high level of achievement this award recognizes,” said Head of School Dave Faus.

The Semifinalists will be presented with a certificate acknowledging their achievement during an assembly in Benjamin Hall on Friday, September 17. Students will be notified in February if they have advanced to Finalist standing.
