LS Students Share Gratitude For Service Members

Lower school skills classes recently spent their morning creating holiday cards for Operation Gratitude. The group of 4th and 5th grade students composed cards to be shared in care packages and letter bundles as a small expression of gratitude this holiday season.

“Operation Gratitude sends letters and care packages to American troops, veterans, wounded heroes, and first responders worldwide,” student services counselor Kari Rankine said.

Rankine said students wrote the cards in the spirit of this year’s partnership with the Headstrong Project, which provides mental health care to the military-connected community.
