Benjamin school parents had the opportunity to hear more about the school’s partnership with the “A Better Chance” organization the morning of April 26 in The Barker Performing Arts Center. Since 1963, ABC has helped identify, recruit, and develop high-performing students among traditionally underrepresented groups in independent schools. A Better Chance has helped successfully match students with some of the most rigorous and prestigious independent day schools and boarding schools across the country.
“We are really thrilled about our partnership with the A Better Chance Organization and are so appreciative of our guest speaker Ben for making the trip to TBS to talk with our families,” said Director of Enrollment Management Amy Jablonski.
Families of color who have already been admitted to Benjamin in Grades 4-11 will have the opportunity to become A Better Chance families and receive the access and resources that accompany their affiliation with the organization.
Jablonski said families can expect to receive a follow-up email from the event with next steps in the coming days.
