Lower School Celebrates Hispanic Culture

Marti Lotman
Lower School Spanish language students donned a variety of traditional Hispanic dress during a special assembly held March 31 in the lower school gymnasium. Kindergarten through fifth graders showcased their appreciation and knowledge of the Hispanic culture while entertaining the audience with vocal and dance performances at the year-end celebration.

“Our Spanish students look forward to the Hispanic Celebration because they love the music and dance of the countries they study. They are able to show the diversity of the Hispanic speaking world in a unique, fun and interactive way,” said coordinator and world language teacher Carmen Garcia.
