US Art Teacher Named 'Artist in Residence'

Upper school visual art teacher Keren Kroul was recently recognized for her work with a residency in Chicago this summer.

The residency, in conjunction with the Hyde Park Art Center, “invites visiting artists and curators from around the globe to become part of our community,” according to the center’s website. The eight week residency “emphasizes cross-cultural exchange and authentic dialogue and conversation surrounding international contemporary art practices.”

Kroul was also recently published in the latest Spring 2025 issue of Southern Review, a quarterly literary journal publication, as a featured visual artist.
