Senior Michael Lobosco Surprised By Marine Sister
Senior Michael Lobosco never expected to see his sister Lia waiting for him outside his Social Studies class on September 25. Lobosco hadn't seen his sister, a Lance Corporal in the Marines, since May. The surprise encounter, planned by his family, almost brought him to tears.
“The funny part is Mr. Anderson actually messed up the surprise because he was supposed to keep me back during lunch, so my sister ended up actually surprising me after I came out of the bathroom,” said Lobosco.
Lobosco said the surprise made him the “happiest kid at The Benjamin School.”
“Family means everything for the Lobosco family, and I couldn't be more blessed to have the family I do. My sister is a hero and I admire her everyday.”
