Additional awards were given to standout seniors within each academic and arts division. Head of Upper School Fletcher Carr gave closing remarks to conclude the ceremony. Carr said that awards, like the ones given throughout the course of the evening, do not appear out of thin air.

“They are the product of remarkable individual efforts supported by the enduring and intertwined frameworks of school, family, and friends, as well as a host of other support systems that have lifted not just the students recognized today — but all of you in this class — in moving, individually and collectively, ever nearer to the incredibly varied and utterly worthy goals to which each of you aspire. Ultimately, an institution is only as good as its people. To that, then, I say to all of you, well done - and thank you all for giving so much of yourselves to this institution over the course of your years here - you have made a difference,” Carr said.
