Middle, Upper Schools Dedicate 2017 Yearbooks

The upper and middle school yearbook staffs carried on the yearly tradition of dedicating their respective books to a member of the faculty who has gone above and beyond during the school year.

During the alumni luncheon hosted in Benjamin Hall on May 18, yearbook co-editors Katie O’Connor and Kelly O’Leary presented Coach Ron Ream with the yearbook dedication.

“. . . He is constantly creating a fun environment in the classroom, encouraging student involvement, and always showing how much he cares about each individual student,” O’Connor said. Ream was met with a roaring applause from the crowd and accepted the yearbook with a glisten in his eye.

The middle school yearbook staff dedicated the 2017 book to Matt Morrow, in charge of technology support for the lower/middle school campus.

“This year we honor an individual who does so many things in the middle school. This person is a helpful, humble and integral part of our middle school who is there for both teachers and students. Our dedicatee’s depth of knowledge, sense of integrity, ability to help in any situation, and selfless generosity, exemplifies so many of the character traits we encourage in our students. This individual has modeled generosity, kindness and abiding patience for faculty and students alike. In addition, this person’s service to students and colleagues knows no bounds,” members of the middle school yearbook staff said of Morrow.

Morrow’s immediate family attended the ceremony which included a touching tribute to his late mother.
