Fifth Grader Speaks Live With Italian Astronaut
Fifth grader Hanna Soffan can check speaking to an astronaut floating in space off of her bucket list. Soffan was one of 11 students in grade two through 12 in Palm Beach County who was chosen to speak with an astronaut after winning an essay contest.
Italian astronaut and engineer Paolo Nespoli answered questions from the eager students on the morning of October 30. The students only had eight minutes to ask their questions.
Soffan had the chance to ask Nespoli what it feels like to be in zero-gravity.
