ABOUT THE GOLD STAR LEARNING LAB
The Gold Star Learning Lab was instituted through the efforts of Harvey and Marianne Gold and The Gold Family Endowment for Students with Learning Differences. The Gold Endowment, established in 2008, serves as the catalyst for increasing the scope and proficiency of assisting Benjamin School students with diverse learning needs.
STEP TO SUCCESS AT THE GOLD STAR LEARNING LAB
The Gold Star Learning Lab on the Lower/Middle School Campus (room #18) is open Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The Learning Lab is staffed by qualified educators, offering students support beyond the classroom to encourage their academic success. Academic enrichment, remediation and maintenance are available through the Learning Lab both before and after school. Additional services are available as needed during the school day.
Utilizing various strategies and methodologies, experienced faculty assist students with their learning needs either individually or in small group sessions. Computer-assisted instruction (C.A.I.), project-based learning, manipulatives and other developmentally appropriate activities are designed to meet each child’s needs.
Learning Lab Fee: $275 for 10 sessions (Prepaid card may be purchased in the Learning Lab or in the Business Office.)
